Heuking Kühn Lüer Wojtek Opens China Desk at Hamburg Office
Dr. Yiliang Dong, member of the Hanseatic Bar Association Hamburg as 'LüShi,' is attorney-at-law PRC and will commence his work as 'Head of China
Desk' at Heuking Kühn Lüer Wojtek's Hamburg office as of March 1, 2011. The
law firm thus allows for the rapidly increasing requirement for counsel in
inbound and outbound business with China.
Dr. Dong (36) is also a partner at Boss&Young with its headquarters in
Shanghai and a branch office in Beijing. He has several years of counseling
practice in Chinese-German business relations and has established excellent
contacts to private and public authorities in the People's Republic of
China. Following his doctorate at Prof. Mestmäcker at the renowned Max
Planck Institute for Comparative and International Private Law in Hamburg,
he most recently worked as Chinese lawyer at Hamburg-based law firm
Brödermann&Jahn.
'China is challenging and such a rapidly growing market for our clients so
that we are now able to support them on the way to and on the Chinese
market as successfully as they are expecting it from us in other regions,'
Dr. Andreas Urban, Managing Partner at Heuking Kühn Lüer Wojtek is glad to
note. 'Primarily, however, the entry of Chinese investors in Germany has
increased in such a way that we want to develop this market in a focused
manner. Dr. Dong will be certain to achieve that objective,' adds Dr.
Stefan Duhnkrack from the Hamburg office.

effectively,' Dr. Dong cited reasons for his decision in favor of Heuking
