Blackheath Resources Inc. (TSXV: BHR) (the "Company") is pleased to announce that Alexander Langer has been appointed President by the Board of Directors, following the Companys annual general meeting.
Mr. Langer joined Blackheath Resources in April of 2013 as Vice President of Corporate Development and has helped Blackheath achieve its goal of being the dominant tungsten project holder in Portugal. He will continue to work closely with CEO and Director James Robertson and the rest of the management team as Blackheath continues to explore and develop its projects.
Mr. Langer has over ten years experience in capital markets and public company operations and has worked with Canaccord Financial for four years as an Investment Advisor. Prior to joining Blackheath Resources, he was Vice President Capital Markets for a TSX listed resource company and has worked with other publically traded companies in various senior management positions.
We are delighted to have Alex take on this leadership role with Blackheath, commented James Robertson, CEO for Blackheath Resources. He has been instrumental in the day to day operations of the company and in corporate development and has spearheaded the last two private placements, both of which were oversubscribed. Alex has proven himself as a very valuable member of our team and I look forward to continuing to work with him as we advance Blackheath towards its goals.
