The "Summer Server" is equipped with Intel Xeon E3 quad-core CPUs. As Memory a 32 GB DDR3 RAM is used. Due to the CPU-sided support of Intel's Virtualization technology VT the "Summer Server" is suitable for the entry into or the operation of small to medium-sized virtualization projects. Memory-sided there are installed 2 x 2TB Harddrives. This allows the operation of the server in a software RAID1 composite for enhanced data security. The standard features of the "Summer Server" include 24x7 access to the Rescue, Webreset and Reinstall systems. The free vKVM system also allows simple debugging of incorrect settings, the check of the boot process and the selection of the boot disk. Other inclusive features include 30 IPv4 addresses (customizable by reverse DNS entries), IPv6 connectivity and a private /64 network. For the creation of server backups there are also 1000 GB of FTP Backup Space ready for use. The Operating Systems that are available for installation include all major distributions of Linux, *BSD and Windows Server 2008, 2012 and 2012 R2. All servers are manufactured and tested in-house. A 100 Mbit connection and all data transfer is inclusive without any extra charge or forced throttling. The Summer Server 2014 "Classic" is available for a fixed price of 45 EUR per month until September 23rd 2014 and is limited to 50 devices.
