Therefore valuephone extents its existing mobile marketing and loyalty services to new mobile devices like smart-watches. “With the retail-app for the German supermarket chain Netto we were the first mover introducing large scale mobile payment offerings in Germany”, says Maik Klotz, Head of Business Development at valuephone. “Now we go one step forward and enlarge our services to new mobile devices. We want to enable every consumer to use our mobile shopping tools, no matter which mobile device he uses. In future users will be able to pay with smart-watches like Pebble or Samsung Galaxy Gear in super markets”, added Maik Klotz.
With this new offering valuephone expands further its “360 Degree Mobile Loyalty Platform”. This platform runs the total mobile payment process and offers retailers additional services for mobile customer communication, loyalty management as well as new business development. The platform advantages for retailers are the seamless integration of new mobile loyalty services into existing customer retention programs within their own branding. At the end of the day, consumers are looking for smart shopping experiences. That means, retailers must include new mobile devices in their loyalty strategy – such as smart-watches.
