BBC Outside Broadcast is using the DHD 52XR MADI router now as the audio backbone for the Glasgow 2014 Commonwealth Games


(PresseBox) - Thum + Mahr once again are proud to help BBC Sport bring audiences all the action live from the Glasgow 2014 Commonwealth Games from 23th of July to August 3rd. Glasgow 2014 will be BBC Sport's biggest ever digital Commonwealth Games.
After short time dismantling BBC's Outside Broadcast DHD audio router from the last hot spot  "Wimbledon Tournament",  BBC Outside Broadcast is using the DHD 52XR MADI router now as the audio backbone for the Glasgow 2014 Commonwealth Games.
Andrew Lenton, Sound Supervisor, BBC Radio Outside Broadcasts says
"Thanks to the help of Thum+Mahr's support team the BBC was able to adapt their DHD router "on the fly" to meet the sophisticated requirements of the various Glasgow venues and fluid production demands."
BBC Radio 5 live will deliver over 200 hours of Games action and breaking news to listeners during Glasgow 2014.
