Evaluation software GenoProof 3 simplifies complex kinship analysis
(firmenpresse) - Since its introduction in 2006, GenoProof has been used for paternity and kinship analysis worldwide. With the newly released GenoProof 3 the range of functions has been extended and the user experience has been improved anew. Furthermore, a new licensing model gives smaller laboratories a reasonable possibility to use the evaluation software.
The evaluation software GenoProof from Qualitype GmbH in Dresden covers the entire process of paternity testing. It includes fsa and hid raw data analysis, extensive biostatistical calculations and creation of reports for paternity testing, kinship analysis, identity calculations, disaster victim identification, chimerism analysis and population studies. "Especially in the area of kinship analysis, it is important to our customers to analyze simple and fast. Due to graphical family trees and improved usability, it is possible to perform kinship analyzes within 10 seconds," CEO Dr. Frank Götz said. In particular extra-large laboratories with a high sample throughput benefit from such time savings. "Graphical family trees provide a clear and pictorial representation of hypotheses helping to overcome the daily flood of data and to deliver high-quality results,“ Götz continued.
With the release of GenoProof 3, Qualitype presents a new licensing model that allows also laborato-ries with a small number of samples per year to use GenoProof as an all-in-one solution. "Many – particularly smaller labs – want to use GenoProof, but often fail due to tight budgets. We want to offer an alternative solution for those labs with the new licensing model," said managing director Götz. GenoProof 3 is available starting at 499 € per year.
Next to IT professionals also scientists from the field of paternity testing support customers in scientific concerns. Thereby, Qualitype wants to ensure a continuous technical and scientific development of GenoProof. A 30-day trial version and live webinars are available in order to get to know GenoProof 3.
