Altona: Results of General Meeting

(firmenpresse) - RESULTS OF GENERAL MEETING

In accordance with Listing Rule 3.13.2 and Section 251AA of the Corporations Act, we advise that each resolution listed in the Notice of Meeting for the General Meeting of Altona Mining Limited held on 20 August 2014 was passed unanimously on a show of hands:

Resolution 1Sale of Altonas main undertaking being the Outokumpu Copper Project located in Finland together with substantially all Altonas interests in Finland for US$95million payable in cash.
Resolution 2Amendment of awards plan such that 1,666,666 Performance Share Rights issued to Dr Alistair Cowden will vest on the completion of the sale of the Finnish assets.

Details of the resolutions and valid proxy votes received in respect of each resolution are set out in the attached proxy summary and show an overwhelming support for both resolutions with 99% in favour of the Sale and 92% in favour of Resolution 2.
