Extend broadcast-quality video over a local area network (LAN) IP
Extend 3G-SDI, HDMI, or DVI video over an IP network using JPEG 2000 compression technology. The Black Box HD-over-IP Encoder/Decoder captures, compresses, and encodes video for streaming over an IP network.
(firmenpresse) - The HD-over-IP encoder uses JPEG 2000 intra-frame compression encoding, which transmits every single video frame unaffected by artifacts or delay. This solution also decodes IP signals back to decompress them for HD video output on remote screens.
In addition, the HD-over-IP encoder has very low latency, which makes it a good option for streaming live video fast in broadcast production, medical imaging, military, and command and control room applications.
