September 10, 2014 - Vancouver, British Columbia - Vodis Pharmaceuticals Inc. (the Company or Vodis) (CSE: VP / FSE: 1JV)) is pleased to announce it has entered into an exclusive sales and distribution Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with SynMatrix Inc. (Synmatrix) for SynMatrixs proprietary LED lighting technology which has been specifically engineered for growing medical marijuana.
Vodis will become an exclusive Canadian and American distributor of Synmatrixs LED lighting technology, which can be used for indoor grow operations, which have traditionally provided the best quality marijuana.
SynMatrixs LED lighting is the marketable result of 8 months of beta testing and development between Vodis management and Synmatrix. The lights have the potential to cut down on both electricity and cooling costs and are cheaper to purchase than traditional HID bulbs.
Otto Folprecht, Chief Executive Officer and Director of Vodis, states: We are extremely pleased to conclude this MOU. This agreement furthers Vodis strategy of becoming a vertically integrated company in the Canadian and American legal, regulated marijuana sector.
Additionally, the Company has granted incentive stock options (the "Stock Options") pursuant to its new Stock Option Plan to two Investor Relations consultants of the Company (the "Optionees") entitling the purchase of an aggregate of 125,000 common shares. The Stock Options are exercisable at a price of $0.45 until expiration on August 29, 2015.

Most indoor grow operations use High Pressure Sodium (HPS) or Metal-Halide (MH) lamps that use a significant amount of electricity and generate a large amount of heat in an indoor greenhouse or grow facility. Up to 80% of a traditional indoor grow facility, using these lights, will see 80% of its operating expenses incurred in electricity for lighting and cooling.
