(PresseBox) - Employment and health protection issues are top of the list of VAG priorities. This is why VAG decided not to take account of any cost or effort in training employees in preventive measures, thus avoiding the occurrence of accidents in advance. VAG received the certificate on the introduction and application of a work and health protection management system, issued by the TÜV SÜD, the German Technical Control Board for the south of Germany, for the "Valve Development, Production, Sales and Service" divisions. The certificate is a worldwide standard, confirming that the requirements of the OHSAS 18001:2007 set of regulations had been met. This type of certification has many advantages such as a general reduction in the number of accidents, more legal security and an enhanced awareness of security.
