WestKam Gold Acquires Additional 1.66% Interest in Bonaparte Claims
Acquisition will increase property ownership to 93.66%
(firmenpresse) - VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA -- (Marketwired) -- 09/16/14 -- WestKam Gold Corp. (TSX VENTURE: WKG) (the "Company" or "WestKam") is pleased to announce that it has entered into a property option agreement (the "Option Agreement") to acquire an additional 1.66% interest on its existing seven claims of the 75%-owned Bonaparte Gold property (the "Property"), thereby increasing the Company's ownership position in the Property to 93.66% once the terms of all outstanding option agreements have been met. These seven claims total 2,216-hectares (5,507 acres).
The Bonaparte Property consists of a total of eight claims, representing 2,461-hectares (6,081 acres) and is located approximately 35 kilometres north of Kamloops, British Columbia. The Property is accessible by paved and well-maintained gravel roads.
In order to earn the additional 1.66% interest, the Company must issue to the optionor 2,000,000 common shares. The transaction is subject to the approval of the TSX Venture Exchange.
