Liaison's Cloud-Based EMR-Link(TM) Solution Integrates Central Clinical Labs With PointClickCare EHR Solution for Long-Term Care, Skilled Nursing Facilities
(firmenpresse) - ATLANTA, GA -- (Marketwired) -- 09/18/14 -- , a global and company, announced today that (CCL) has chosen Liaison EMR-Link™ as its lab integration solution with PointClickCare, a widely used Electronic Health Record (EHR) solution for long-term care facilities and skilled nursing facilities.
Based in Chicago, Central Clinical Labs provides laboratory services to over 350 facilities throughout Illinois, Indiana, and the Phoenix, Arizona metro area, with a special focus on mobile phlebotomy. With the Liaison EMR-Link solution, clinicians can now easily view lab results from within PointClickCare, while staff no longer have to scan faxed results and import them into electronic charts.

Central Clinical Labs is live with the EMR-Link solution at a pilot site, and will roll it out to 25 additional sites in coming months. CCL is also looking forward to offering bi-directional integration (orders and results) next year. "We're already seeing benefits from improving EHR integration.
