S.A.G. Solarstrom AG: Own shares sold
Freiburg, April 13, 2011. S.A.G. Solarstrom AG (German security
identification number: 702 100, ISIN: DE0007021008), Freiburg, today sold
400,000 own shares in an off-exchange transaction to institutional
investors. The shares have been sold at a price that did not significantly
exceed the stock exchange price of company shares with the same security
number at the time of sale (§186 paragraph 3 page 4 of the German Stock
Corporation Act (AktG)). The applicable share price is the arithmetic mean
of the closing price of the S.A.G. Solarstrom share in Xetra trading on the
Frankfurt am Main Stock Exchange on the five trading days preceding the
sale of the shares. The shares were acquired as part of the buyback program
approved by the Annual General Meeting. S.A.G. Solarstrom AG's portfolio of
own shares has been reduced from 884,858 to 484,858 no-par value shares
through this transaction.
The liquidity thus released is to be used to accelerate the implementation
of the 48 MWp photovoltaic project in Italy and to extend the investors
basis.
