(PresseBox) - Weidmüller is extending its OMNIMATE device connection technology area to include a further service offering: The Internet-based "Application-oriented product recommendation" selection aid supplements the established 72-hour sample service. It provides a fast, user-friendly - and so far unique - solution on the market. Customers can directly access the OMNIMATE device connection technology area and the desired service point with the link to www.weidmueller.de/AppGuide. A selection range of various applications opens there for the user where he can find a precise recommendation for the best suited connection solution for different device functions, which meets his requirements for handling, size, safety, processing costs and conformity to standards, such as for the motor connection, DC intermediate circuit, external I/O components or for the voltage supply. A "conventional" search using the online product configurator or online catalogue is still possible. The user can then request a 'Design-In' sample at no cost using the proven 72-hour sample service.
