Joshua Stein Named to 2014 New York "Super Lawyers" List
(firmenpresse) - NEW YORK, NY -- (Marketwired) -- 09/23/14 -- Commercial real estate attorney Joshua Stein, sole principal and founder of Joshua Stein PLLC, has again been selected for inclusion in the real estate category of the 2014 "New York Metro Super Lawyers" list, published by Super Lawyers and featured in the New York Times and Westchester magazines.

Super Lawyers is a Thomson Reuters ranking service and publication. Its "2014 New York Metro" list recognizes what the ranking service/publication considers to be "outstanding" lawyers from more than 70 practice areas across the New York City metropolitan area. No more than five percent of eligible attorneys are selected for the list, which is compiled through a patented, multiphase process that includes a survey of lawyers, an independent research evaluation of candidates and peer reviews by practice area.
Stein's commercial real estate practice is multi-faceted. It includes financing, development, acquisitions, hotel-related and leasing transactions for a client base that ranges from large real estate investors to individuals opening their first store. He also regularly serves as an expert witness, a court-appointed receiver and an American Arbitration Association neutral.
Active in the legal community, Stein is a frequent speaker, author of five books and editor-in-chief of the New York State Bar Association's two-volume treatise Commercial Leasing (2nd Edition, 2010). He has published more than 200 articles on commercial real estate law and practice.
Stein is a graduate of Columbia Law School (J.D., 1981) and the University of California, Berkeley (B.A., 1977).
