Cardio Pulmonary Diagnostics, LLC is a medical organization that provides heart and lung care to active and retired public servants, in an effort to support their valiant services and has therefore been invited to provide invaluable insights for the benefit of the firefighters.
(firmenpresse) - Atlantic city, NJ (September 23, 2014) – The Golden Nugget Hotel & Casino in Atlantic City is set to witness the 2014 Annual convention of New Jersey’s FMBA, which is a two day program spanning the 16th and 17th of September. The highlighted guest of this convention is Cardio Pulmonary Diagnostics, LLC that provides cardiovascular and pulmonary screenings to retired and active firefighters, EMS rescuers, police officers and their families.
Cardio Pulmonary Diagnostics will be attending the ceremony to raise awareness on the issue of the potential health risks that firefighters face while carrying out their duties. They will also be providing heart and lung screenings through a program called the Captain Buscio program. The aim of this program is to provide physical examinations to firefighters and other public servants alike, which are specific for their needs and profession. These annual examinations are provided by board certified cardiologists and pulmonologist of Cardio Pulmonary LLC, as well as Deborah Heart and Lung Center.
The testing is provided based on the individual’s medical history, thereby only performing tests that are relevant; Laboratory, x-ray, pulmonary functions testing and cardiovascular screening are some of the tests conducted based on the requirements. All the examinations are designed to be comprehensive and strictly confidential.
The Captain Buscio program was instigated in memory of Captain Dominic Buscio, a prominent and dedicated fire captain of the Jersey City Fire Department who passed from a heart attack. Realizing the implications of this disease on the lives of firefighters, his wife Donna Buscio created this program for the benefit of these courageous public servants.
