(Brandenburg an der Havel, April 29th, 2011) AUTEV AG, Brandenburg,
provides SCHLOSSER EUROPART Technischer Handel GmbH, Berlin, with AuLED
industrial lamps. Thanks to attractive financing models, energy savings
exceed investment costs from day one.
One hallway was initially modified in a previous testing phase last year.
Instead of needing 800 watts, the new lamps needed only 130 watts for the
same light output which corresponds to a saving of approximately 80
percent. The investment costs for the first hall are 32,000.00 Euro. The
partners agreed to a financing via leasing over a period of six years. This
calculation makes sense: monthly savings of 650 Euros are far above leasing
payments of 520 Euros. Upon completion of the leasing payments, the
remaining lifetime of the lamps will be six more years based on a minimum
calculated lifespan of at least 50,000 hours. During this remaining six
year period there are no operating costs, only savings. In addition, AuLED
lamps need no maintenance.
The modularly designed LED factory lights offer up to 240 watts performance
output. Their flexible light dispersion capability allows for a predefined
spatial radiation characteristic for each individual LED, thereby reducing
the number of LED's necessary which at the same time further reduces costs.
'The purchase of AuLED-industrial lights is completely risk free. As a
result of our individually tailored lighting plans, including an economic
feasibility analysis, the client knows prior to purchase what his costs and
savings will be. Aside from this we also offer attractive financing
packages which allow the inherent savings to more than cover the initial
investment costs', explains Tim David, director and member of the board at
AUTEV AG. The Brandenburg LED professionals are currently preparing test
tracks for further well known German industrial companies such as
Boehringer Ingelheim for example.

environmentally friendly an energy-efficient energy use. 'Savings are
realized from day one of the investment, and should electricity prices
rise, then the savings will become even greater. In addition, LED lighting
is significantly brighter than older traditional lighting resulting in a
marked reduction in symptoms of fatigue on the part of the employees,'
explained a satisfied Wolfram Schmeling, Managing Director of SCHLOSSER
EUROPART.
