Hamburg, April 30, 2011 - In fiscal year 2010, PROCON MultiMedia AG (ISIN:
DE0005122006, Prime Standard), an internationally leading full-service
provider of technical equipment for events, film and TV productions, sales
amounts to EUR 133.0 million (previous year: EUR 81.0 million). The gross
profit on sales increased from EUR 13.5 million to EUR 21.0 million.
The operating result amounts to EUR 5,8 million in fiscal year 2010 (in
2009: EUR 0,4 million) and earnings before taxes to EUR 3.1 million
(previous year: EUR -2.6 million). Earnings per share amount to EUR 0.04
(previous year: EUR -0.34).
For Procon 2010 was the year with the highest revenue in the history of the
company. The Executive Board expects sales revenues to decline in 2011 on
constant results, as there will be no large-scale events in Europe and in
the international markets. A further recovery in the European core markets
might have a positive impact on the Group's business activity, though.
Projects served by Procon in the first quarter of 2011 have included the
Echo Awards as well as numerous international exhibition stands, e.g. at
the international motor show in Geneva, Switzerland.
