S.A.G. Solarstrom AG extends power plant portfolio by 5.1 MWp system in
Kamenicna, Czech Republic
Freiburg, May 2, 2011. S.A.G. Solarstrom AG (German security identification
number: 702 100, ISIN: DE0007021008), Freiburg, has decided to extend its
own power plant portfolio by the 5.1 MWp system in Kamenicna, Czech
Republic, retroactively from January 1, 2011. The system was completed at
the end of December and connected to the public network. The power plant
portfolio will thus increase to 25.1 MWp.
The photovoltaic system produces around 5,200 MWh of electricity per year
at the Kamenicna site, Czech Republic, thus covering the electricity
requirements of 1,000 four-person households.
'The system is exhibiting the high performance expected in the first few
months of operation', says Dr. Karl Kuhlmann, CEO of S.A.G. Solarstrom AG,
'we have therefore decided to extend our portfolio by this attractive and
already funded project, even taking into account the Czech solar tax of
26%'.
As the system was connected before December 31, 2010, S.A.G. Solarstrom AG
will receive 12.4 Czech Crowns for each kWh fed in to the grid via its
project company. (equivalent to EUR0.51).

profits, but also supplies us with valuable data regarding long-term
performance, and the maintenance and optimization requirements of systems,
which we can use to continuously improve our offering. In the long-term,
our own systems are interesting assets for potential partners, such as
major energy providers who want to invest specifically in renewable
energies. The project planning business would also benefit at the same
time', says Dr. Karl Kuhlmann in conclusion, explaining the reason for the
decision.
