Ralf Ahamer takes up position on Management Board at hotel.de AG
Nuremberg, 2 May 2011 - Ralf Ahamer, most recently Chief Marketing Officer
at XING AG, has today taken up his position as a Management Board member at
hotel.de AG with responsibility for marketing and product management. By
taking this step, hotel.de AG has underlined its consistent focus on
marketing and its products both nationally and internationally. This is
also the aim of the reallocation of Management Board responsibilities due
to take effect upon Ralf Ahamer joining the company from May 1, 2011.
Responsibility for those areas now headed by Ralf Ahamer previously lay
with company CEO Dr. Heinz Raufer (marketing) and CIO Torsten Sturm
(product management).
In future, the IT/TC division will no longer be managed as a Management
Board department, but will rather report directly to CEO Dr. Heinz Raufer.
As previously, the company will therefore be managed by a Management Board
of three individuals - CEO Dr. Heinz Raufer, CMO Ralf Ahamer and CSO
Reinhard Wick. Upon this reallocation of responsibilities, cofounder
Torsten Sturm will step down from his Management Board position
retrospectively as of May 1, 2011, but will continue to manage the IT
department in close liaison with the Management Board team in his capacity
as Chief Information Officer (CIO).
