WestKam Gold Amends Option Terms of 1.66% Interest, Options Remaining 4.34% Interest
Acquisition will increase property ownership to 100%
(firmenpresse) - VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA -- (Marketwired) -- 09/30/14 -- WestKam Gold Corp. (TSX VENTURE: WKG) (the "Company" or "WestKam") announces that, further to its news release of September 16, 2014, it has amended the terms of an option agreement to acquire a 1.66% interest on its existing seven claims of the 75%-owned Bonaparte Gold Property (the "Property"). The parties to the option and sale have agreed to amend the original consideration from 2,000,000 common shares to 2,250,000 common shares.
Additional 4.34% Interest
The Company also wishes to announce that that it has entered into a property option agreement to acquire the remaining 4.34% interest in the claims. In order to earn the remaining 4.34% interest, the Company must issue to the optionor 5,950,000 common shares.
The transactions are subject to the approval of the TSX Venture Exchange.
The Bonaparte Property consists of a total of eight claims, representing 2,461-hectares (6,081 acres) and is located approximately 35 kilometres north of Kamloops, British Columbia. The property is accessible by paved and well-maintained gravel roads.
