Tawi-Tawi Prospect
Toronto, Canada - (For immediate release) - May 9, 2011
Hutchison Minerals Co. Ltd. (www.hutchisonminerals.com), Deutsche Börse
(Frankfurt Exchange) ticker symbol: HZ0, announced today that it has begun
implementing the supplemental work program to further explore an additional
160 Hectares of land at the Tawi-Tawi prospect.
The program includes digging shallow test pits at 100 meter intervals, and
the Company hopes to more accurately delineate the extent of the ore body.
The Company will be using McPhar Geoservices (PHIL.), Inc. to test for
nickel, cobalt and ferrous oxide, and will be forwarding test results in
batches of 500 samples at a time. It is anticipated that the additional
work will require 3 months to complete,
To date, the Company has explored 40 hectares with an estimated resource at
a depth of 2 meters of 1,040,000 wet metric tons (WMT) with a grade of 1%
Ni, 0.6% Co and 32% Fe2O3.
