As an extension of Iveda's core business, the Company announced on August 26, 2014, that it is working with domestic and foreign body-worn camera manufacturers to integrate its live, mobile video streaming application software for instantaneous video recording to the cloud.
Iveda and a Southeast Asia manufacturer have developed a software development kit, or SDK, for live streaming and archiving of the manufacturer's body worn camera with Iveda's Sentir cloud video platform. The manufacturer is planning to market the new integrated cloud video capabilities to its existing global distribution channels. This will allow law enforcement agencies to centrally manage video transmitted from hundreds or thousands of officers in the field for real-time situational assessment and instantaneous viewing of recorded video. This method is a game changer -- providing highly-efficient video collection from the field and immediate availability for viewing.
