Mullen Group Ltd. Announces Appointment of New Director

Scherman, FCA ICD.D as a director of Mullen Group effective October 7, 2014. Mr. Scherman brings a wealth of knowledge and experience in areas which are important to the continued growth and development of Mullen Group. Mr. Scherman obtained his Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Saskatchewan in 1972, joined the Calgary office of KPMG that year and became a partner in 1981. During his tenure at KPMG, Mr. Scherman was the engagement partner for both public and private energy and energy service entities, was that firm's Oil and Gas Industry Leader for many years and served two terms on that firm's board of directors. Mr. Scherman is a director of Parallel Energy Trust and is a member of the audit committee of the Province of Alberta. Mr. Scherman has been a member of the Alberta Securities Commission Financial Review Committee and the Alberta Securities Commission Financial Advisory Committee.
