ARCADIS deepens environmental presence, remediation resources in Canada with acquisition of Franz Environmental

October 3, 2014 - ARCADIS (EURONEXT: ARCAD), the leading natural and built asset
design and consultancy firm has today announced it has acquired Franz
Environmental Inc. (FRANZ). Headquartered in Toronto, FRANZ employs more than
100 environmental consultants and staff in six locations throughout Canada with
annual gross revenues of 20 million Canadian dollars. Further financial details
were not disclosed.
With the addition of FRANZ, ARCADIS grows its presence in North America and its
ability to deliver services to its clients located, or with interests, in
Canada. FRANZ's specialized expertise in environmental remediation, site
assessments, brownfields, and hydrogeology will complement ARCADIS' services
throughout the region. Coming shortly after the acquisition of SENES in 2013,
ARCADIS now has approximately 360 people throughout Canada to serve public and
private clients in the government, industrial, manufacturing, mining, oil and
gas sectors and beyond.
