Neuburg/Danube, June 1, 2011 - VIB Vermögen AG, a company specialising in
commercial real estate portfolio management, has successfully placed its
capital increase. Within the scope of a private placement, the real estate
company offered a total of 3,554,374 new bearer shares for subscription at
an issue price of EUR 8.00 per share. Through the transaction, the gross
issuing proceeds amount to around EUR 28.4 million, which are to be
deployed for further high-yield investments exclusively. Along with new
constructions on existing land areas in Grossmehring (EUR 2.8 million) and
Baunatal (EUR 2.7 million), additional logistics and retail properties with
a volume of at least EUR 50 million are to be acquired or developed at
several other locations in Bavaria. 47% of the capital increase was
subscribed by existing shareholders who exercised their subscription rights
at a rate of 5:1. The remaining 53% were offered to institutional investors
as a private placement. Those received a scaled down allotment, as the
capital increase was oversubscribed.
Through the issue of the new shares, the share capital of the VIB Vermögen
AG increases from EUR 17,771,870 to EUR 21,326,244. Following the entry of
the capital increase in the Commercial Register and after booking has taken
place with the Clearstream Banking AG, it is expected that the new shares
with the securities identification code VIHJ (securities identification
number A1KRQN, ISIN DE000A1KRQN8) will be included for trading in the Open
Market of the Munich Stock Exchange (M:access) on June 6, 2011. Due to the
entitlement to dividend from 1st January 2011, the new shares will continue
to be traded under the stated securities identification number until the
end of the General Meeting on July 7, 2011. Following the General Meeting,
all outstanding shares will again be listed under the uniform code VIH
(securities identification number 245751, ISIN DE0002457512).
