SEATTLE, Washington (3 June 2011) - Spectral Capital Corporation (FCCN.QB)
(F3SN:F) is pleased to offer a letter for shareholders.
Dear Shareholders,
Over the past few months, the company has undertaken thorough analysis of
the state of the industry as well as how the company can best capitalize on
the circumstances of today and how we can best prepare for the future. As
such, I am excited to announce that the management team and I have
determined that we believe that diversification is tantamount to success in
today's and tomorrow's environment. Diversification to us is creating a
portfolio of assets not just in gold, but also in other natural resources,
and having these resources in different locations in the world. Most
companies choose one path, either in gold or copper or oil, but not all of
these assets. We think differently and believe that Spectral's unique and
creative approach to this industry can lead to excellent results.
Spectral's management team's strength is in the ability to find
under-valued projects, create a favorable deal structure and to find
low-cost financing for project development and production. We believe that
these attributes are the most important element in financially successful
companies. Our approach is similar to a venture capitalist in that we
aggressively seek opportunities and capitalize on them. We are not the
typical management team in this industry and we believe we can outsource
all the years of experience that is necessary to carry out our operations.
The key for us is accumulating sound assets with a favorable structure that
gives us the ability to make significant profit - other areas can be
outsourced.
In times like these, with extreme turmoil economically, politically and
through natural disasters, we believe a varied and strong portfolio of
assets is far more valuable than one asset only. It is clear to us and to
most analysts that natural resources will continue to gain in value and
continue to be in high demand. We have seen recently how the prices of
certain resources are affected by factors beyond control and that Mother
Nature and unexpected political uprisings can bring about sudden and sharp
changes to availability and prices of natural resources. By providing our
shareholders with a portfolio of a variety of natural resources - varied in
asset type and geopolitical location - we will be able to be flexible in
times of abrupt change.
The criteria we look for in projects are simple. We look for advanced-stage
and under-valued assets with a minimum terminal value of $500,000,000. We
focus on emerging economies, like the CIS region however this is not our
only point of focus, and maintain a local and active partner in the
location of the license. All these efforts are directed to provide
geological, political and resource diversification in our portfolio.
People may doubt us because this approach is not the usual approach to this
industry. We are trailblazing a different approach and we are confident
this direction will create a very valuable company. We have set a very high
bar and have created the strategies to reach these high goals. Over the
next coming weeks, I hope to be announcing some of the acquisitions that we
are in final stages of securing as well as other significant developments.
We believe that providing our shareholders a spectrum of natural resources,
in a spectrum of locations is the right direction. 'Spectralizing' is
seizing opportunities and capitalizing upon them, and that is our mission.

Spectral Capital is focused on the acquisition and development of a
significant portfolio of properties in the natural resource sector, mainly
in the Commonwealth of Independent States region. In September 2010, the
Company purchased an interest in mineral properties in the Chita region of
the Russian Federation. The Kadara and Kaltagay license is located in the
Mogochinsky district of the Chita Region, which has several gold mines in
production. Spectral owns 52% of the License for prospecting, exploration
and production of gold and all other metals. The size of the License is 186
km2. In January 2011, Spectral acquired a 65% interest in a gold mine in
the Bayankol River Basin of Kazakhstan, in one of the region's most
promising areas for gold extraction. The size of the License is 702 km2.
Exploration and development activities are currently being undertaken in
both properties. Spectral continues to develop a diversified portfolio of
natural resource assets in some of the world's most prolific regions.
