Berlin, 14. June 2011 - DEAG Deutsche Entertainment AG (ISIN DE000A0Z23G6)
has entered into an exclusive distribution agreement with Sony Music
Entertainment Germany for all releases of its record label DEAG Music.
Effective as of September the contract replaces the current agreement with
Warner Music and covers Germany, Austria and Switzerland. For the time
being the term runs well into the year 2015.
DEAG Music MD Björn Teske: I am very glad about this partnership, which is
surely more than a 'norpmal' distribution deal. It is already showing up
that we will utilize synergies on the label side too and therefore extend
the good cooperation with Sony, which has proved its worth in a number of
current joint ventures, to an additional sector.
