Hasting-based Kinley Systems, a supplier of innovative landscaping products and solutions, extends its Raaft Terrafina range to include paving support pedestals and decking support pedestals.
Kinley Systems is well known for its Raaft Terrafina brand of wood-polymer non-slip composite decking, which provides landscape architects and developers with an easy to install, extremely hard-wearing, safer and aesthetically pleasing alternative to timber decking. Raaft Terrafina composite decking is being used more and more as part of outdoor common areas, including in particular; balconies, roof gardens and roof top terraces as both residential and business premises within the country’s cities increasingly make use of the space above.
Because of the increasing popularity of the use of these spaces, Kinley Systems has launched a range of robust, height adjustable pedestals that allow for the installation of decking and paving where it is not practical to lay traditional sub-base aggregate and where flooring surface needs to be elevated from the base deck area.
Raaft Terrafina decking and paving pedestals, also referred to as paving support slabs and decking support pads, provide a free drainage area, they adjust gradients across roof surfaces and can bridge ducting and other building services that may be running underneath and where access may be required.
Raaft Terrafina paving and decking supports come in two ranges: SpiraPave is a twist action, adjustable pedestal, which can be set as low as 12mm in 1mm increments. Manufactured in a recycled, yet durable polypropylene, these paving and decking supports have a load bearing capacity of 20KN and have a range of accessories available to be used for paving or deck bearers and joists.
VersiJack is Raaft’s screw-action adjustable pedestal and provides height variation to more than one metre. VersiJack is compatible with SpiraPave and as a standalone system and provides a cost-effective paving support and decking support system for many project types.
