Chicago Pride Parade Celebrates Its 45th Year

One of the largest and most recognized Pride Parades in the world, the 4-mile route is likely to attract about 750,000 attendees. It is the culmination of Chicago's Pride Month.
The Pride Parade is when Chicago's LGBT community lets it all hang out -- almost completely literally. But parents shouldn't worry -- although it's raucous, it's still a family-friendly event (sort of: think PG-13). Many restaurants, clubs, and merchants offer specials connected with the parade. After the parade, parties continue late into the night.
