Berlin - 1 July 2011. The Supervisory Board of Heliocentris Energy
Solutions AG appointed Ayad Abul-Ella as the new Chairman of the company's
Managing Board with effect from 1 September 2011. Ayad Abul-Ella (41) has
worked in the last 14 years at the Siemens AG in the field of
electromechanical components, thereafter at Infineon Technologies among
others as the General Manager and Managing Director the of Fiber Optic
Modules GmbH and following at Qimonda AG as the Head of the Consumer and
Mobile Business Unit as well as the Chief Restructuring Officer. Currently
he supports a leading blue chip company in the USA as an interim manager
for the Strategy Office. During the last 10 years he has proven multiple
times his entrepreneurial strengths, building and commercializing on the
basis of innovative technologies new businesses to a size of several
hundred millions of Euros in revenue. This experience he will now put into
service for Heliocentris, a leading specialist for clean energy storage
solutions.
The founder and former Chairman of the Managing Board, Dr. Henrik Colell,
will henceforth be the Chief Technology Officer (CTO) focusing to further
strengthen and expand the technological basis and solution offering of
Heliocentris.
