bmp AG: Renamed bmp media investors AG, restructuring successfully
completed.
Berlin, 8 July 11
bmp AG (ISIN DE0003304200) has completed its restructuring as at 1 July
2011 and is trading with immediate effect under the name bmp media
investors AG. The new name was approved by the General Stockholders'
Meeting on 22 June 2011 and entered in the commercial register of the
company on 5 July 2011.
Andreas van Bon left the company's Executive Board as planned as at 30 June
2011. Jens Spyrka, who had previously been responsible for most of the
media investments, was appointed to the Executive Board as at 1 July 2011
and will manage the company alongside CEO Oliver Borrmann going forward.
bmp media investors AG will now concentrate fully on investments in the
area of media and marketing services in Germany and Poland. The company is
anticipating at least four further investments in this sector in 2011.
As part of the restructuring of the bmp Group, the employees of bmp AG also
transferred to bmp Beteiligungsmanagement AG as at 1 July 2011.
Furthermore, Andreas van Bon and Oliver Borrmann were appointed to the
company's Executive Board alongside the existing member Jens Spyrka as at 1
July 2011. The company's Supervisory Board is made up of Dr. Christof
Nesemeier, Dr. Torsten Poeck and Prof. Tim Renner.
bmp Beteiligungsmanagement AG, in which bmp media investors AG still holds
a 90% interest, is expected to be listed on the Open Market of the
Frankfurt Stock Exchange on 18 July 2011. bmp media investors AG then plans
to part with most of its shares in bmp Beteiligungsmanagement AG over the
course of the year. The two companies will retain links to each other in
the future through an investment advisory agreement and positions on
executive bodies.
