Promotional Marketing Advantages manager Stephen, from Chattanooga, Tennessee, grew up with a background in sports and cellular sales. Stephen moved to Columbia, South Carolina for a position he held in the cellular industry for seven years. After a lay-off, Stephen went into new home sales and in October of 2012 he joined the company. At that point in his life, Stephen was looking for a position with growth and stability long term. In just ten days Stephen was promoted into an Account Manager position. Having an opportunity to test a new client in 2013, Stephen was promoted into an upper level management position. He began managing the Eau Claire, WI office and then expanded into another market in La Crosse, where he is currently the Manager.
In 2014 Promotion Marketing Advantages promoted two new managers and expanded with several territories and clients. They have tripled in size and are projected to expand two more times before the end of the year. They forecast to expand into eight new markets in 2015, and will need more managers to help with the growth. "The management training position develops personal growth, leadership skills, mentality, and coaching techniques. I love the fact that we come in every day to find something, whether it be skill or talent, that we can personally work on and develop. This comes from an inner desire to personally develop." Stephen comments when asked about their leadership development.
Having just come back from their Management Development Conference in Dallas, TX, Promotional Marketing Advantages is looking forward to their annual vacation trip. In November, Promotional Marketing Advantages will be going to the Hard Rock in the Mayan Riviera in Mexico for four days to celebrate another successful year. When asked what motivates him, Stephen states, "Whatever the mind of a man can conceive and believe, the mind can achieve!" a quote by W. Clement Stone. With goals on the horizon, Stephen is excited about Promotional Marketing Advantages' future.
