UNITY innovationday as a platform for exchange between experts
(PresseBox) - The topic Industry 4.0 was the focus of the 2nd UNITY innovationday in Shanghai: On Monday, about 90 experts and decision makers from different industries came to the event in the German Centre Shanghai.
"The event illustrated specific research results and exciting experiential reports from practice", as Dr. Alexander Suhm, Partner at UNITY and Managing Director of the national subsidiary in China describes.
Top speakers from leading companies such as KraussMaffei, MBB or Industrie Informatik examined the topic Industry 4.0 from different perspectives: starting at the globalization of developments to automated products. The topic IT security was the core aspect of Prof. Dr. Heiko Seifs' talk, Senior Manager at UNITY, since it is gaining on importance due to the increasing automation by Industry 4.0.
Research findings were illustrated in the talk "Industry and Logistics 4.0 - German Research Structures" from Prof. Dr. Peter Sachsenmeier, member of acatech, the German academy of engineering science.
Integrating Industry 4.0 requires good preparation and organizational adjustment.
