Takedown Entertainment Signs Agreement With Alaska Fighting Championship

() (OTCBB: TKDN), an authority in the business of mixed martial arts, is pleased to announce that it has signed a Letter of Intent to acquire worldwide distribution rights to past and future MMA fights with the Alaska Fighting Championship, plus certain rights to the brand and sponsorship representation.
Debuting in July 2004, the Alaska Fighting Championship (AFC) has amassed almost ninety mixed martial arts events to date. Despite the state's size, AFC has drawn enough attention to make it Alaska's premiere MMA organization featuring Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) fighters such as Rich Franklin, Demetrious Johnson and current welterweight sensation Rick Story. When the founders decided to sell the organization in 2007, local business woman Sarah Johnston purchased it. She had frequently attended the fights with her mortgage clients, but after experiencing the energy and fans of the events, she knew she had to be a part of it.
"MMA has only been in Alaska for about eight years and for a state to have less than 700,000 people and still sustain the sport, it shows you where we're going," said AFC President Sarah Johnston. "MMA is growing so fast right now that I know we'll be in 60% to 70% of households in the next few years.
