Vancouver, B.C., November 6, 2014 - SecureCom Mobile (SecureCom, the Company) has launched its new SecureCom Voice, Text and Messaging Apps beginning with its first app for the Android OS in September 2014. The Company estimates that its secure apps designed to provide encrypted privacy for personal communications, will be available to at least 1 billion of the total estimated 1.75(1) billion smart phone device users by the first quarter of 2015. Total mobile devices are estimated between 4.5 - 7 billion(1,2) devices with smartphones estimated to comprise 50% of the market within three years.
Already available on the Android OS and Blackberry platforms, SecureCom Mobile is staging the roll out of its encrypted communication apps on the top ranked mobile device platforms through the fourth quarter of 2014 and first quarter of 2015. This development comes as the Company began the global introduction of encrypted software products with a strategy to expand users across all mainstream mobile smartphone devices and operating systems. Expansion of encryption apps during 2015 is also projected to desktop and laptop personal computers, increasing both functionality and use.
SecureCom Mobile offers three distinctly different apps that, when used together, provide a total solution for secure and private personal data exchange over mobile devices and computers.
"SecureCom Voice" enables people to communicate, in complete privacy, with ease, over conventional mobile networks via voice. Using cryptographically strong algorithms that are based on the industry vanguard, SecureComs technology completely shields all communications from surveillance. The encryption is end-to-end, and therefore cannot be circumvented by outside parties, mobile carriers or even by SecureCom Mobile itself.
"SecureCom Messaging" represents a breakthrough in encrypted messaging that can serve as an end-to-end message delivery system with complete privacy using device level encryption. Messages can include longer text lengths than conventional texts and accommodates a variety of attachments. This technology introduces the possibility of replacing conventional email functions with a secure, fully encrypted system.
"SecureCom Text" is a replacement for the standard SMS/MMS (Short Message Service, Multimedia Message Service) app for Android devices only that enables you to exchange text and picture messages with the benefit of strong encryption, preventing snoops or eavesdroppers from viewing them.
The information traveling between two SecureCom Encrypted App users, if intercepted while in transit, cannot be read or decoded by any other party. The information contained in each communication is completely private and secure using SecureComs systems.
OS X, Windows, and Kindle platform releases of the SecureCom Apps are all slated as part of the Companys product roll out.
The urgent need to secure personal data and control the privacy of personal and business correspondence are the foundations driving SecureCom Mobiles continued deployment of useable and trustworthy encryption technology to be made available on all types of devices and platforms.
SecureCom technology is released under an open source license to confirm the absence of backdoors or other methods to remotely control access to your private information.
