Pinetree Capital Ltd. Acquires Securities of Aptose Biosciences Inc.
(firmenpresse) - TORONTO, CANADA -- (Marketwired) -- 11/07/14 -- Pinetree Capital Ltd. (TSX: PNP) announces that on November 6, 2014, it acquired ownership of 18,565 common shares ("Common Shares") of Aptose Biosciences Inc. ("Aptose") through the facilities of the Toronto Stock Exchange, representing approximately 0.2% of the total issued and outstanding common shares of Aptose as of November 6, 2014. As a result of this transaction, Pinetree and its joint actors collectively held, as at November 6, 2014, an aggregate of 1,473,333 common shares of Aptose, including the Common Shares, or approximately 12.7% of the total issued and outstanding common shares of Aptose as of November 6, 2014. Of these totals, Pinetree owns 855,000 common shares, including the Common Shares, directly, or approximately 7.4% of the total issued and outstanding common shares of Aptose as of November 6, 2014.
These transactions were made for investment purposes and Pinetree and its joint actors could increase or decrease their investment in Aptose depending on market conditions or any other relevant factor.
