(firmenpresse) - King Athletic, designer of the best-selling Leather Jump Rope announced today that the company donates $1 to prostate and breast cancer Research for each purchase of its jump ropes fulfilled through Amazon.com. The jump rope designer is hopeful that King Athletic will raise a significant amount of money for Prostate and Breast Cancer Research and help conduct studies for cancer diagnosis, treatment and prevention.
For every purchase of the Speed Rope, Cable Rope and Leather Jump Rope on Amazon, King
Athletic will donate $1 to research. As the King Athletic reveals, this initiative is part of the company's social responsibility projects and has a two-fold aim; contribute towards a bigger cause that will help in the greater good of all citizens worldwide and allow consumers to improve their health through working out while donating to charity at the same time.
Benjamin Davies, spokesperson of King Athletic, said today, "Our donation program runs on a very simple premise, we wanted to give back to society and wanted to do it in a way that supports the future and health not just locally but also globally. By donating $1 for each Amazon purchase of our jump ropes we hope to raise money to support researchers in their efforts to prevent, treat and hopefully cure prostate and breast cancer. We like to think of this initiative as a pay it forward project, to thank our customers and to engage new ones in a noble cause."
King Athletic reminds consumers that the donation project runs exclusively through Amazon. Only purchases placed through King Athletic's Amazon store will be considered for the donation program. Whether individuals choose the Leather jump rope, the Speed Rope or the Speed Cable Jump Rope, all of them are eligible for donation to prostate and breast cancer research.
The jump rope brand plans to run the donation project until Christmas 2014, with the intention to renewed in early in 2015.
