A Veidekke company to build Kjeller School in Skedsmo
(Thomson Reuters ONE) - The Veidekke company Seby AS has recently won several large contractsthat together are worth just over NOK 150 million (excluding VAT).The largest contract is for the construction of a new school atKjeller for Skedsmo Municipality. The value of this contract is NOK103 million excluding VAT.The new school, which will be in Kunnskapsveien in Kjeller, is forpupils in grades 1 to 10. With an area of 6,500 sq m, the new schoolis a turnkey project for Seby. Work has already started, and theschool is scheduled to open in autumn 2010.Renovation and remodelling of Ahus HospitalSeby AS has also signed a contract with the South-Eastern NorwayRegional Health Authority at the new Ahus Hospital for internal andexternal renovation of the Nye Nord building. The project is a maincontract valued at NOK 39 million excluding VAT. Work has alreadystarted and is scheduled for completion by 30 March 2010.Library and canteen at Skedsmo Upper Secondary SchoolSeby is building a library and canteen at Skedsmo Upper SecondarySchool for Akershus County Administration. The project consists ofrenovating 620 m2 of existing buildings and building a 225 m2extension. The project also includes replacing two ventilationsystems. The contract is a general contract valued at NOK 11.5million excluding VAT.
