Media Advisory: Five Countries to Battle it Out in a Distributed Virtual Environment
(firmenpresse) - OTTAWA, ONTARIO -- (Marketwire) -- 07/17/11 -- Members of the media are invited to the Canadian Land Forces Simulation Centre, to tour the facilities and observe the Simulation Training System.
ALLIED AURORAS is a test of a virtual, pre-deployment mission rehearsal exercise designed to support a multinational brigade level; with the specific focus of exposing the coalition command and staff to the interoperability issues that they would face in a real conflict.
To assist our deployed forces in completing their dangerous missions successfully, it is critical that we develop the most efficient tools to conduct effective and high quality training. This activity will focus on development efforts currently underway to maximize the potential impact of simulation tools in Mission Rehearsal and Battlefield Visualization.
