Rokmaster Initiates Arbitration and Announces Departure of Giovanni (John) Fiorino
(firmenpresse) - VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA -- (Marketwired) -- 11/13/14 -- Rokmaster Resources Corp. (TSX VENTURE: RKR)(LMA: RKR) ("Rokmaster" or the "Company") has notified AM Gold Inc. ("AM Gold") and its Peruvian subsidiary, Canper Exploraciones S.A.C. ("Canper") of its initiation of the process to arbitrate AM Gold and Canper's challenge of the validity of Rokmaster's declaration of Force Majeure in accordance with the Option and Joint Venture Agreement dated July 16, 2012, as amended (the "Agreement"), and in respect of AM Gold and Canper's subsequent delivery to Rokmaster of a purported Notice of Default in respect of the Agreement, both of which are disputed by Rokmaster. Rokmaster and AM Gold have been engaged in active negotiations over the past two months but the parties are now at an impasse, which has led to Rokmaster initiating arbitration, the method of dispute resolution set out in the Agreement.
The Company also announces that Giovanni (John) Fiorino, CEO of AM Gold, has resigned as a director of Rokmaster.
