Calgary Social Media Breakfast (SMByyc) is pleased to announce the November 2014 Event:
Come ELF Yourself!
This year , , and are partnering to spread the spirit of Christmas by running a toy drive to help local charity, .
While not required, please help SMByyc as we join Melrose as they kick off their Christmas toy drive. Please bring a toy for a child or $20 to Melrose this Friday, November 21 and help fill up the Kia cars located in the Cowboys Casino parking lot!
As an added bonus, each individual who donates to this campaign will be awarded a ballot and entered into the Melrose & Molson Canadian Giving Tree promotion.
40 lucky contestants will receive Christmas Dinner for 2 and a chance to pick 1 of 40 items from the giving tree. 1 lucky winner will get a 1 year lease on a Kia Soul EX for 2015 (some stipulations apply).

is a local charity that works with the City of Calgary's social services and the Calgary Police Service to ensure that children living in despair are not left out during Christmas. Every Christmas Eve, the Magic of Christmas staff load up Calgary Transit buses with toys and they drive across the city to visit homes and hospital rooms to bring joy to children's lives.

has been the Editor of Avenue magazine since 2006. Her job gives her a unique perspective into the life of Calgary. She has worked as a writer and editor for more than 15 years. In 2011 she was recognized as the Alberta Editor of the Year by the Alberta Magazine Publishers Association. Lemon sits on the board of the Rotary Park Lawn Bowls Club, the Attainable Homes Calgary Corporation advisory committee and she is the president of the Amber Webb-Bowerman Memorial Foundation, a local registered charity that provides scholarships and awards for young writers.
