Shaw Go WiFi Access Coming to Campbell River's Public Spaces
Installation to Commence This Month at Six Municipal Locations Across the City
(firmenpresse) - CALGARY, ALBERTA -- (Marketwired) -- 11/17/14 -- Shaw Communications (TSX: SJR.B)(NYSE: SJR) is pleased to announce that it has reached a commercial agreement with the City of Campbell River to extend Shaw Go WiFi into municipal buildings and public areas within the coming months. This five-year non-exclusive deal will provide Shaw customers with greater access to Shaw Go WiFi throughout the community.

"This agreement will increase the number of access points in Campbell River, while providing our customers in the community with the freedom and control to connect to Shaw's unrivalled network while on the go."
Shaw Go WiFi hotspots will be installed in several locations throughout the city, including: City Hall; Tidemark Theatre; Willow Point SportsPlex; Campbell River Community Centre; Campbell River Museum; the Maritime Heritage Centre and the Discovery Pier. Installation will be completed within the coming months. There is no cost to the City, and Shaw will pay an annual license fee for access to City buildings and infrastructure such as streetlight fixtures.
In addition to the availability of Shaw's Go WiFi in City buildings and infrastructure, the City of Campbell River will continue to supply free WiFi at the airport, City Hall and the Community Centre using its own network and third-party installations. The City's free WiFi signal is open to anyone using a WiFi enabled device.
