Andrew Ward Named VP at Stonybrook Capital
(firmenpresse) - NEW YORK, NY -- (Marketwired) -- 11/18/14 -- Andrew Ward, a veteran investment banker, has joined Stonybrook Capital, LLC, a strategic advisory and investment banking firm focused exclusively on the insurance industry, as Vice President for Business Development and Operations, Joseph Scheerer, Principal and Managing Director, announced today.
"With almost 15 years in financial services, Andrew Ward brings in-depth experience in a wide range of investment banking and business management that will support our clients and contribute to the company's growth," Scheerer said.
Mr. Ward came to Stonybrook from Aldwych Capital Partners (ACP) where he was Director for Business Development specializing in capital raising and transaction origination. Mr. Ward joined ACP in 2009 in the investment banking and principal investing group where he was responsible for execution and sourcing. Prior to ACP, he served on the execution team at Alfred Street Partners, a middle market private equity firm. Earlier, he was a member of JP Morgan Chase's mortgage group serving the firm's high net worth clients. Mr. Ward holds an M.B.A from Georgetown University - McDonough School of Business. He earned his B.A. at Boston College.
