Sampo's website revamped
Sampo plc's website www.sampo.com has been revamped. The website, focusing on
investor and media communication, has been given a clearer structure and its
general appearance has been streamlined. The responsive new web design now also
serves Sampo's growing base of tablet and mobile users.
The development of the website's functions focused especially on the calendar
and the glossary. The investor calendar features a clear view of events by month
or year. Events can also be browsed by event type. The comprehensive glossary
from the old website now includes, in addition to the original list view,
buttons on content pages that allow users to access definitions of the most
essential life insurance and property and casualty insurance terminology and
financial statement terms while reading the text.
The website's extensive archive contains, among other things, stock exchange and
press releases, annual reports, videos, photos and governance materials from
several years. The good filtering options make browsing the contents of the
archive easy. The same filters are available on the search results page, where
you can search the archive for material pertaining to specific events.
The website is available in both Finnish and English. The technical
implementation of the website was handled by the Nordic IT services company
Tieto.
