Ressources Appalaches: Results From the Annual Meeting of Shareholders
(firmenpresse) - RIMOUSKI, QUEBEC -- (Marketwired) -- 12/02/14 -- Ressources Appalaches (TSX VENTURE: APP)(FRANKFURT: OU3) announces that all the resolutions that were presented at the annual meeting on November 24, 2014, were approved by the shareholders. These resolutions include the nomination of the directors and the auditors. Shareholders re-elected Alain Hupe, Dominique Doucet, Andre Proulx and Jose Oro to the Board of Directors.
Moreover, during its first board meeting, Alain Hupe was re-elected as President and Chief Executive Officer and Andre Proulx as chairman of the board. Alain Hupe, Andre Proulx and Dominique Doucet were appointed members of the audit committee. The Company also announces that Darrin Campbell, Chief Financial Officer, has resigned from the Corporation to pursue other opportunities. The Corporation would like to thank Mr. Campbell for his contribution over the past year, and wishes him the best in his future endeavors.
The mine is maintained in good condition with the objective to restart operations. The gold flotation concentrate is being prepared to be sent to the refinery. The production data is being compiled and will be posted with the results of the refinery. The Company is actively seeking additional sources of funding. The management team will be redesigned to achieve this objective and comprehensive restructuring will be implemented for the development of the mine.
