(NEX: HEG.H) ("Homeland" or the "Company") wishes to announces that its controlling shareholder, GMR Energy Group Ltd. ("GMR") has agreed to forgive all outstanding debt owed by the Company to GMR. The outstanding principal balance was US$36.65 million as of December 1, 2014. The debt forgiveness is subject to approval from the Reserve Bank of India which is in the process of being obtained.
