ASSA ABLOY appoints President of the Asia Pacific division and member of the Executive Team
(Thomson Reuters ONE) - Jonas Persson has been appointed President of ASSA ABLOY Asia Pacificdivision and member of the ASSA ABLOY Executive Management Team.Start date remains to be confirmed.Jonas comes from the position as Group Managing Director of theSwedish company Scan Coin. Before that he has spent several yearswith Nolato and Alfa Laval in various leading positions covering allaspects of the business from sourcing and manufacturing to thecommercial side. During his time with Nolato he among other thingsspent four years in Beijing, China, to build up the business there tosignificant size.Jonas succeeds Martin Brandt who will take up a position outside ofthe ASSA ABLOY Group.The Asia Pacific division manufactures and sells mechanical andelectromechanical locks, security doors and fittings in Asia,Australia and New Zealand.
