Recently, Imtech won several orders for industrialmaintenance services in the chemical, petrochemical, steel and oiland gas industries. To an increasing extent, electrical maintenanceactivities are being carried out alongside the maintenance ofmechanical processes. For steel producer Acerinox in Algeciras,Imtech takes care of the comprehensive multidisciplinary industrialmaintenance of the steel mill, the hot steel press and the mechanicalmaintenance of a number of huge industrial pumps, among other things.For the Spanish oil and gas company Cepsa Imtech conducts all themultidisciplinary industrial maintenance activities (electrical,instrumentation, mechanical) in the Cepsa refinery in Algeciras.Imtech is also responsible for several integral maintenance contractsregarding the technical infrastructure on the Cepsa production sitesin both La Rábida and Tenerife. Other integral maintenance contractsare the contracts for the chemical plant of Cepsa in Madrid and therefinery cooker plant of the oil and gas company Repsol located inPuertollano, as well as the IQA (Industrias Químicas Asociadas)chemical plant of La Seda de Barcelona in Tarragona. Other contractsare the integral maintenance contract for Repsol in Tarragona and acontract for the mechanical industrial maintenance at the BP refineryin Castellón.Maintenance in buildingsOn the Spanish buildings maintenance market there is a clear need forprofessional technical services providers focused on the maintenanceof technical installations as core activity.
