EVINE Live Inc. Names Wade Gerten Vice President of Digital
(firmenpresse) - MINNEAPOLIS, MN -- (Marketwired) -- 01/05/15 -- EVINE Live Inc. (NASDAQ: EVLV) today announced the appointment of Wade Gerten as Vice President of Digital. Gerten will lead the online, mobile and social media teams in addition to the marketing and creative teams. Gerten will report to Mark Bozek, CEO of EVINE Live Inc.

Gerten comes to EVINE Live with broad experience in the retail technology sector. In 2008, Gerten founded 8thBridge, a social discovery platform designed for brands that want to empower people to discover new product ideas, inspire the creation of crowd-sourced content, and gain a far deeper understanding of their customers. In April 2014, 8thBridge was acquired by Fluid, a Goldman Sachs-backed ecommerce agency and solutions company. After the acquisition, Gerten served as President of the 8thBridge business unit and also corporate Chief Marketing Officer at Fluid. Prior to founding 8thBridge, Gerten served as Vice President, Product Marketing & Strategy for Oracle Retail where he accelerated retail growth for key retailers such as Best Buy, Walmart, Tesco and Nordstrom.
EVINE Live Inc. (formerly ValueVision Media, Inc.) is a digital commerce company that currently operates as ShopHQ, a 24/7 interactive digital shopping and entertainment experience.
